Diamondoids but no Nanobots

After a year out of the public eye, researchers at Chevron Texaco have now managed to produce gram quantities of diamondoids. Before anyone gets to excited, there isn’t a flying diamondoid nanobot in sight, though plenty of possible pharmaceutical and materials applications.

Recent jubilation among ChevronTexaco shareholders is more down to this than nanotech.
